Artist that could... be an animator if needed.

This is where all applications will be for writing, art, instrumentalists, and anything else we can think of. ^_~

Artist that could... be an animator if needed.

Okay I really just want to draw storyboards and nice art but I can animate if you guys are like incredibly desperate. This is a little animation I did of myself. I'm not all that proud of it just so you guys know. I only used 4 images and I usually use at least ten for one movement. :o I just wanted to put in an application fast because I'm so excited about this project. :D

Excitement's all around, pal. ^^

At this point we're not quite sure whether we're going to animate at all, or rather draw the whole musical as "prettied-up-storyboards" aka key frames. Hand-drawn animation would take too many people, but an alternative paperdoll animation style has been suggested. But yeah, it's still pretty much undecided.

If you really want to do something art-related, feel free to head up to the Design Lab. I don't think there's a need for any applications, I myself just butzed in there and started doing stuff.

Ooh! Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou! AWESOME! My one question is: "What do I do? Where do I get started in said art department?" Okay, that was two questions but they still stand... I'll go snoop around the department more to see if I can find the answers.

Yeah, the best way to start would be to read as many threads as possible and see what is being done now. We're currently making character design sheets and layouts, and some people are making sketches for the front and back of the Highlight CD (other art concerning that is almost finished, if I've understood correctly). Storyboarding has apparently paused, but will probably resume after the sheets and layouts are done.

Oh, I can do sheets and layouts. Yup, take out that dusty Phoenix Wright art book of mine and put it to work! Yeah, right as if I don't look at that book all the time.
